FIRST true government

John 6:63

King James Version

63 It is the spirit that quickeneth;

the flesh profiteth nothing:

the words that I speak unto you,

they are spirit, and they are life.

How did governments begin?

On whose shoulders did the responsibility of governing fall upon?

Where did all organization come from?

born again knows where it all began.

We attribute everything to GOD.

Without GOD, there would be no earth, no heaven, no man.

The first real government was created by GOD.

Before He did, there was nothing at all.

Genesis 1:1-2

King James Version

1 In the beginning God

created the heaven and the earth.

2 And the earth was without form, and void;

and darkness was upon the face of the deep.

And the Spirit of God moved

upon the face of the waters.

John 1:1-3

King James Version

1 In the beginning was the Word,

and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 The same was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made by him;

and without him was not any thing made

that was made.

GOD spoke, and it came into being.

Genesis 1:3

King James Version

3 And God said,

Let there be light:

and there was light.

He gave everything to His Son, JESUS.

John 1:14

King James Version

14 And the Word was made flesh,

and dwelt among us,

(and we beheld his glory,

the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,)

full of grace and truth.

His Son. JESUS, became the government.

Isaiah 9:6

King James Version

6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given:

and the government shall be upon his shoulder:

and his name shall be called Wonderful,

Counsellor,

The mighty God,

The everlasting Father,

The Prince of Peace.

All power was given unto JESUS.

Mark 14:61-62

King James Version

61 But he held his peace, and answered nothing.

Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him,

Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?

62 And Jesus said, I am:

and ye shall see the Son of man sitting

on the right hand of power,

and coming in the clouds of heaven.

John 14:6

King James Version

6 Jesus saith unto him,

I am the way, the truth, and the life:

no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Ephesians 1:17-23

King James Version

17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ,

the Father of glory,

may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation

in the knowledge of him:

18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened;

that ye may know what is the hope of his calling,

and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance

in the saints,

19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power

to us-ward who believe,

according to the working of his mighty power,

20 Which he wrought in Christ,

when he raised him from the dead,

and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

21 Far above all principality, and power,

and might, and dominion,

and every name that is named,

not only in this world,

but also in that which is to come:

22 And hath put all things under his feet,

and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

23 Which is his body,

the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

Colossians 2:8-10

King James Version

8 Beware lest any man spoil you

through philosophy and vain deceit,

after the tradition of men,

after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

9 For in him dwelleth

all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

10 And ye are complete in him,

which is the head of all principality and power:

Colossians 2:13-15

King James Version

13 And you,

being dead in your sins

and the uncircumcision of your flesh,

hath he quickened together with him,

having forgiven you all trespasses;

14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances

that was against us, which was contrary to us,

and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

15 And having spoiled principalities and powers,

he made a shew of them openly,

triumphing over them in it.

How is the state of our world now?

Does it reflect the presence of CHRIST?

Or have we been deluded?

And made to embrace that which is not of CHRIST?

I think, deep in our hearts, we know the answer.

In JESUS alone do we have salvation.

In JESUS alone do we have hope.

In JESUS alone do we have life.

In JESUS is TRUE government.

MASTER of organization

Colossians 2:9

King James Version

9 For in him dwelleth

all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

In the previous post, we shared how Moses was taught by his father-in-law, Jethro, how to conserve his energy.

And yet get things done.

Surely a smart way of government.

Through delegation, and division of labor.

This time, we look into the MASTER of ORGANIZATION.

Who else, but the LORD JESUS?

These verses tell us more:

The apostles, pleased with themselves, tell JESUS of their accomplishments.

Mark 6:30-46

King James Version

30 And the apostles gathered themselves

together unto Jesus,

and told him all things,

both what they had done,

and what they had taught.

It has been a busy day, and JESUS asks of them:

Mark 6:30-46

King James Version

31 And he said unto them,

Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place,

and rest a while:

for there were many coming and going,

and they had no leisure so much as to eat.

32 And they departed into a desert place

by ship privately.

But the people would not be denied their Teacher.

Mark 6:30-46

King James Version

33 And the people saw them departing,

and many knew him,

and ran afoot thither out of all cities,

and outwent them,

and came together unto him.

The LORD's heart was moved at their devotion.

Mark 6:30-46

King James Version

34 And Jesus, when he came out,

saw much people,

and was moved with compassion toward them,

because they were as sheep not having a shepherd:

and he began to teach them many things.

JESUS' disciples must have been tired, and wanted some peace.

Mark 6:30-46

King James Version

35 And when the day was now far spent,

his disciples came unto him, and said,

This is a desert place, and now the time is far passed:

36 Send them away,

that they may go into the country round about,

and into the villages, and buy themselves bread:

for they have nothing to eat.

How can the LORD even think of turning away His faithful?

Mark 6:30-46

King James Version

37 He answered and said unto them,

Give ye them to eat.

And they say unto him,

Shall we go and buy

two hundred pennyworth of bread,

and give them to eat?

Now begins the LORD's way of organizing a challenging task.

Mark 6:30-46

King James Version

38 He saith unto them,

How many loaves have ye? go and see.

And when they knew, they say,

Five, and two fishes.

9 And he commanded them

to make all sit down by companies

upon the green grass.

40 And they sat down in ranks,

by hundreds, and by fifties.

But this, JESUS always does, before performing a miracle:

Mark 6:30-46

King James Version

41 And when he had taken

the five loaves and the two fishes,

he looked up to heaven,

and blessed,

and brake the loaves,

and gave them to his disciples to set before them;

and the two fishes divided he among them all.

Everyone was filled, with more to spare.

Mark 6:30-46

King James Version

42 And they did all eat, and were filled.

43 And they took up twelve baskets full

of the fragments, and of the fishes.

44 And they that did eat of the loaves

were about five thousand men.

But JESUS had more work to do; He did say:

Luke 12:23

King James Version

23 The life is more than meat,

and the body is more than raiment.

Done feeding the people bread, fish, and His WORD, JESUS had more to do.

Mark 6:30-46

King James Version

45 And straightway

he constrained his disciples to get into the ship,

and to go to the other side before unto Bethsaida,

while he sent away the people.

Actually, this is what JESUS needed to do.

Mark 6:30-46

King James Version

46 And when he had sent them away,

he departed into a mountain to pray.

That's how a MASTER organizer performs tasks.

He looks to the GREAT Provider, and prays to Him.

Before, and after every task.

First, to ask; lastly, to thank.

Do our governments do such things?

Do they even look to the ONE, TRUE GOD?

Do they aspire to know His will, and to follow His ways?

Or are we beholden to ourselves, or who we think are our masters?

I only know ONE MASTER.

Matthew 23:8-10

King James Version

8 But be not ye called Rabbi:

for one is your Master, even Christ;

and all ye are brethren.

9 And call no man your father upon the earth:

for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

10 Neither be ye called masters:

for one is your Master, even Christ.

These I've come to know when GOD made me born again.

His SPIRIT and Scripture tell me everything I need to know.

SMART way of GOVERNING

Exodus 18:8

King James Version

8 And Moses told his father in law

all that the Lord had done unto Pharaoh

and to the Egyptians for Israel's sake,

and all the travail that had come upon them by the way,

and how the Lord delivered them.

The Bible is astoundingly magnificent.

It tells us how to lead.

It tells us how to survive.

It tells us how to live by GOD's WORD.

Here's a practical example of how to lead best.

SPIRIT led me to an amazingly brilliant example.

First, we look at the plight of Moses.

Exodus 18:13

King James Version

13 And it came to pass on the morrow,

that Moses sat to judge the people:

and the people stood by Moses

from the morning unto the evening.

This didn't escape the eyes of Jethro, Moses' father in law.

Exodus 18:14

King James Version

14 And when Moses' father in law

saw all that he did to the people, he said,

What is this thing that thou doest to the people?

why sittest thou thyself alone,

and all the people stand by thee

from morning unto even?

To which, Moses replied:

Exodus 18:15-16

King James Version

15 And Moses said unto his father in law,

Because the people come unto me to enquire of God:

16 When they have a matter, they come unto me;

and I judge between one and another,

and I do make them know the statutes of God,

and his laws.

The caring Jethro had some sage advice for Moses:

Exodus 18:17-18

King James Version

17 And Moses' father in law said unto him,

The thing that thou doest is not good.

18 Thou wilt surely wear away,

both thou, and this people that is with thee:

 for this thing is too heavy for thee;

thou art not able to perform it thyself alone.

Exodus 18:19-20

King James Version

19 Hearken now unto my voice,

I will give thee counsel, and God shall be with thee:

Be thou for the people to God-ward,

that thou mayest bring the causes unto God:

20 And thou shalt teach them ordinances and laws,

and shalt shew them the way wherein they must walk,

and the work that they must do.

Exodus 18:21

King James Version

21 Moreover thou shalt provide

out of all the people able men,

such as fear God,

men of truth,

hating covetousness;

and place such over them,

to be rulers of thousands,

and rulers of hundreds,

rulers of fifties,

and rulers of tens:

Exodus 18:22

King James Version

22 And let them judge the people at all seasons:

and it shall be, that every great matter

they shall bring unto thee,

but every small matter they shall judge:

so shall it be easier for thyself,

and they shall bear the burden with thee.

Exodus 18:23

King James Version

23 If thou shalt do this thing,

and God command thee so,

then thou shalt be able to endure,

and all this people shall also go to their place

in peace.

What does Moses do?

He listens.

True leaders listen to sane advice.

Especially to a practical priest like Jethro.

Exodus 18:24-26

King James Version

24 So Moses hearkened to the voice of his father in law,

and did all that he had said.

25 And Moses chose able men out of all Israel,

and made them heads over the people,

rulers of thousands,

rulers of hundreds,

rulers of fifties,

and rulers of tens.

26 And they judged the people at all seasons:

the hard causes they brought unto Moses,

but every small matter they judged themselves.

That's really a smart way of governing.

Today, we call this "delegation" and "division of labor".

Leaders need to delegate, so they don't get swamped by work.

As the example above shows, we also choose who we delegate to.

We all work as a team, not one more than the other.

Leaders dedicated to GOD make efficient leaders.

They think of the whole, not of self.

They look to GOD's will, not what one desires.

They work, for GOD's GLORY alone.

That's what makes for a successful government.

Delegating to competent members.

Is your government successful?

What could be done better?

Scripture always has the perfect solutions.

The FUTURE government

Ecclesiastes 7:14

King James Version

14 In the day of prosperity be joyful,

but in the day of adversity consider:

God also hath set the one over against the other,

to the end that man should find nothing after him.

In the previous post, we shared with you the PERFECT government.

Which is in stark contrast to how governments in the world are.

You can also call it the "ideal" government.

We can create such a government, if we really wanted to.

But what if we don't?

What happens then?

Will we be doomed?

Well, there's a bright future for believers.

Scripture assures us:

Revelation 21:1-2

King James Version

21 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth:

for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away;

and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city,

new Jerusalem,

coming down from God out of heaven,

prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Revelation 21:3

King James Version

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying,

Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men,

and he will dwell with them,

and they shall be his people,

and God himself shall be with them,

and be their God.

Revelation 21:4

King James Version

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes;

and there shall be no more death,

neither sorrow, nor crying,

neither shall there be any more pain:

for the former things are passed away.

Revelation 21:5

King James Version

5 And he that sat upon the throne said,

Behold, I make all things new.

And he said unto me,

Write: for these words are true

and faithful.

Revelation 21:6-8

King James Version

6 And he said unto me,

It is done.

I am Alpha and Omega,

the beginning and the end.

I will give unto him that is athirst

of the fountain of the water of life freely.

7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things;

and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

8 But the fearful, and unbelieving,

and the abominable, and murderers,

and whoremongers, and sorcerers,

and idolaters, and all liars,

shall have their part in the lake

which burneth with fire and brimstone:

which is the second death.

Revelation 21:9

King James Version

9 And there came unto me

one of the seven angels

which had the seven vials

full of the seven last plagues,

and talked with me, saying,

Come hither, I will shew thee the bride,

the Lamb's wife.

Revelation 21:10-13

King James Version

10 And he carried me away in the spirit

to a great and high mountain,

and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem,

descending out of heaven from God,

11 Having the glory of God:

and her light was like unto a stone most precious,

even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;

12 And had a wall great and high,

and had twelve gates,

and at the gates twelve angels,

and names written thereon,

which are the names of the twelve tribes

of the children of Israel:

13 On the east three gates;

on the north three gates;

on the south three gates;

and on the west three gates.

Revelation 21:14-17

King James Version

14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations,

and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

15 And he that talked with me

had a golden reed to measure the city,

and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.

16 And the city lieth foursquare,

and the length is as large as the breadth:

and he measured the city with the reed,

 twelve thousand furlongs.

The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.

17 And he measured the wall thereof,

an hundred and forty and four cubits,

according to the measure of a man,

that is, of the angel.

Revelation 21:18-21

King James Version

18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper:

and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.

19 And the foundations of the wall of the city

were garnished with all manner of precious stones.

The first foundation was jasper;

the second, sapphire;

the third, a chalcedony;

the fourth, an emerald;

20 The fifth, sardonyx;

the sixth, sardius;

the seventh, chrysolyte;

the eighth, beryl;

the ninth, a topaz;

the tenth, a chrysoprasus;

the eleventh, a jacinth;

the twelfth, an amethyst.

21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls:

every several gate was of one pearl:

and the street of the city was pure gold,

as it were transparent glass.

Revelation 21:22

King James Version

22 And I saw no temple therein:

for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb

are the temple of it.

Revelation 21:23

King James Version

23 And the city had no need of the sun,

neither of the moon, to shine in it:

for the glory of God did lighten it,

and the Lamb is the light thereof.

Revelation 21:24-25

King James Version

24 And the nations of them which are saved

shall walk in the light of it:

and the kings of the earth do bring

their glory and honour into it.

25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day:

for there shall be no night there.

26 And they shall bring the glory and honour

of the nations into it.

Revelation 21:27

King James Version

27 And there shall in no wise enter into it

any thing that defileth,

neither whatsoever worketh abomination,

or maketh a lie:

but they which are written

in the Lamb's book of life.

Does that bring you joy yet?

Does that bring tears to your eyes?

That there won't be tears anymore.

That death will not visit us anymore.

That you won't worry about thieves, and feel secure.

That you'll be in the presence of GOD, and the LAMB.

That there won't be crime anymore.

You can FINALLY live happily, peacefully, harmoniously.

Imagine nations, and kings, to be under GOD.

Oh, such a lovely thought!

Won't you want to live under such circumstances?

And be governed by GOD, with no one usurping His power?

I would.

Believers really have much to look forward to.

And it is for ALL, who care to know the LORD.

And repent, and get right with GOD.

Believing in His Son, JESUS.

It's time you did.

The PERFECT government

Hebrews 10:14

King James Version

14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever

them that are sanctified.

I know of a perfect government.

Do you?

SPIRIT led me to one.

Observe the components:

Romans 12:4-5

King James Version

4 For as we have many members in one body,

and all members have not the same office:

5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ,

and every one members one of another.

Romans 12:6-8

King James Version

6 Having then gifts differing

according to the grace that is given to us,

whether prophecy, let us prophesy

according to the proportion of faith;

7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering:

or he that teacheth, on teaching;

8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation:

he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity;

he that ruleth, with diligence;

he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

Romans 12:9-13

King James Version

9 Let love be without dissimulation.

Abhor that which is evil;

cleave to that which is good.

10 Be kindly affectioned

one to another with brotherly love;

in honour preferring one another;

11 Not slothful in business;

fervent in spirit;

serving the Lord;

12 Rejoicing in hope;

patient in tribulation;

continuing instant in prayer;

13 Distributing to the necessity of saints;

given to hospitality.

Romans 12:14-15

King James Version

14 Bless them which persecute you:

bless, and curse not.

15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice,

and weep with them that weep.

Romans 12:16

King James Version

16 Be of the same mind one toward another.

Mind not high things,

but condescend to men of low estate.

Be not wise in your own conceits.

Romans 12:17-18

King James Version

17 Recompense to no man evil for evil.

Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you,

live peaceably with all men.

Romans 12:19-20

King James Version

19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves,

but rather give place unto wrath:

for it is written,

Vengeance is mine;

I will repay, saith the Lord.

20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him;

if he thirst, give him drink:

for in so doing thou shalt heap

coals of fire on his head.

Romans 12:21

King James Version

21 Be not overcome of evil,

but overcome evil with good.

That's a refreshing change, isn't it?

That, through JESUS, we can have such a perfect government.

The perfect government abides by GOD's laws.

It has GOD in it.

It has JESUS in it.

It has SPIRIT in it.

It loves people.

It cares for people.

It honors the forgotten ones.

Only then can man govern well.

Only then can man follow such a government.

Only then can a government be fair, just, and successful.

Only then can there be peace.

How, then, can church and state be separate?

Without GOD in government, we'd be lost.

What were we thinking, taking out GOD, from government?

What were we thinking, putting many other gods in it?

What were we thinking, we can govern by ourselves?

As it is, the world belongs to the fallen one.

Thus, our ONLY HOPE is in JESUS.

Who teaches us to love GOD, above all.

And to love others, as He loved us.

We must seek Him, while we can.

Our very future hinges upon it.
